Editorial Policy

Everything we publish, curate, and feature is guided by a single commitment: to be genuinely useful to the marketers and designers who rely on us. This page explains how we uphold that commitment.

Pineable is a design inspiration hub for real-world marketing content. We curate, analyze, and showcase marketing collateral — blog layouts, eBooks, newsletters, landing pages, and more — so that content marketers and designers never start from a blank canvas.

This page outlines the principles that govern how we create content, select designs for our gallery, work with contributors, and handle sponsored relationships. We publish it publicly because transparency is part of how we earn trust.

Our editorial mission

Everything we publish serves one of two purposes: helping designers make better craft decisions, or helping marketers brief designers with greater clarity and confidence. If a piece of content doesn't serve at least one of those audiences in a concrete way, it doesn't belong here.

Editorial independence

Our editorial decisions are made independently of commercial relationships. What we feature in our gallery, what we write about, and the analysis we publish are not for sale.

  • A brand cannot pay to be featured in the Pineable gallery.
  • A sponsor cannot influence the conclusions we draw in our articles.
  • An advertiser cannot request the removal of content that reflects poorly on their work.

We reserve the right to feature, critique, or decline to feature any design or brand based solely on editorial merit.

How we select designs for the gallery

Every design in the Pineable gallery is selected against a consistent set of criteria. We look for:

  • Real-world examples only. We do not feature concept work, student projects, unreleased mockups, or hypothetical designs. Everything in the gallery is a design published and used by a real brand in a real marketing context.
  • Design merit, not brand size. A well-designed eBook from a mid-size SaaS company has as much place in our gallery as one from a Fortune 500 brand. We curate for quality of execution, not prestige of name.
  • Relevance to our content categories. We feature blog designs, eBooks, newsletters, landing pages, case studies, infographics, pitch decks, presentations, reports, social media creatives, and podcast assets.
  • Insight value. Does featuring this design give our audience something to learn from? A design that is merely attractive is not enough. We prioritize designs that demonstrate a distinct layout decision, typographic approach, structural choice, or visual hierarchy worth analyzing.

Content standards

Accuracy and fact-checking

Every factual claim in our articles is checked before publication. Statistics, data points, and attributed quotes must be traceable to a primary source — an original study, an official report, or a named individual. We do not publish unattributed statistics or recycle data from secondary sources without verifying the original.

When we share opinions and analysis — which we do freely and by design — we distinguish them clearly from statements of fact. Our curatorial perspective is part of our voice, not a substitute for accuracy.

Corrections policy

We make mistakes. When we do, we correct them promptly and transparently. Corrections are noted at the bottom of the relevant article, stating what was changed and why. We do not silently edit published content to remove errors without acknowledgment.

If you spot an inaccuracy in something we've published, contact us at taher@pineable.com. We take every correction request seriously, regardless of who submits it.

Linking and sources

We link to primary sources wherever possible — original research, brand websites, official announcements. We avoid linking to content farms, low-quality aggregators, or sites that exist primarily to rank rather than inform. We do not accept payment to include links in our editorial content. Sponsored links are always disclosed.

Contributor content

Pineable accepts guest articles through our Write for Us program. All contributor submissions are subject to the same editorial standards as content produced by our in-house team.

  • Editorial review. We edit all submissions for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with Pineable's voice and standards. Acceptance of a submission does not guarantee publication without edits.
  • Conflict of interest disclosure. Contributors must disclose any conflicts of interest relevant to their topic — including employment, financial relationships, or brand affiliations.
  • No advertorial submissions. We do not publish content that promotes a contributor's own product or service as its primary purpose. Contextual mentions are acceptable; thinly veiled advertising is not.
  • Original work only. Submitted articles must be original and not published or under consideration elsewhere. We do not accept repurposed content or pieces that primarily aggregate what already exists.
  • Right to decline. We reserve the right to decline any submission that does not meet our editorial standards, without obligation to provide detailed feedback.

For full contributor guidelines, visit our Write for Us page.

Design submissions

Designers and brands can submit work to be considered for the Pineable gallery through our Submit a Design program. Submission does not guarantee inclusion. All submitted designs are reviewed against our curation criteria, and we do not provide individual feedback on why a submission was not selected.

Submitting a design to Pineable grants us the right to feature and analyze it editorially. We will always credit the brand and, where known, the design team or agency responsible. If you are the rights holder of a featured design and have a legitimate concern about its inclusion, contact us at taher@pineable.com.

Sponsored content and commercial relationships

Pineable works with partners on sponsored content opportunities. We are transparent about every commercial relationship that touches our content.

  • Always labeled. Sponsored articles, features, and gallery placements are always clearly labeled as such. Readers will never be left guessing whether something is paid for.
  • Editorially independent. Sponsors do not influence the editorial framing, conclusions, or tone of sponsored content. We write it; we stand behind it.
  • Standards apply equally. We will not publish sponsored content that makes unsubstantiated claims or promotes products we wouldn't recommend to our audience independently.
  • Right to decline. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue any sponsorship that conflicts with our editorial integrity.

We do not sell positions in our organic gallery rankings, top picks, or editorial recommendations.

AI and content creation

We use AI tools as part of our content workflow — for research, ideation, and drafting assistance. We do not publish AI-generated content without meaningful human editorial judgment applied at every stage: framing, analysis, accuracy checking, and final voice.

The analysis, curatorial perspective, and opinions expressed on Pineable reflect the judgment of our editorial team, not an automated output. Where AI has played a substantial role in producing a piece of content, we will say so.

Bylines and editorial accountability

Every article published on Pineable carries a byline. We believe readers have a right to know who is responsible for the content they're reading. Our editorial team is accountable for the accuracy, quality, and integrity of everything published on this site — including contributed pieces, sponsored content, and gallery features.

Updates to this policy

This editorial policy reflects our current standards and practices. We will update it as Pineable grows and as publishing norms evolve. If you have questions about our editorial standards or want to raise a concern, contact us at taher@pineable.com.
